Brief Bio of the Speaker

王志,2005年毕业于北京师范大学获物理学学士学位,2010年毕业于北京师范大学获得凝聚态物理博士学位,2010-2012年在日本National Institute for Materials Science进行从事博士后研究,在2012年入职中山大学任副教授至今,其中2017-2018年公派留学访问UT Austin

研究工作围绕超导电性理论进行,研究方向主要是超导准粒子性质以及超导约瑟夫森效应。近期的主要研究方向是超导准粒子的贝里曲率效应,以及具有Majorana量子比特的拓扑超导约瑟夫森效应。

Abstract

Properties of the superconducting condensate and the quasiparticles are central to the understanding of superconducting systems. The condensate can be directly probed by the Josephson effect while the quasiparticles can be investigated with transport and spectroscopic methods. We study the Berry curvature effects of the superconducting quasiparticles and investigate the Berry curvature induced thermal Hall effect and the density of state modulation. We also study the Josephson effect in mesoscopic junctions, where the nontrivial Cooper pair splitting effect or the embedded Majorana qubit induces novel transport signatures.
