On November 22nd, the Chinese Academy of Sciences announced the list of new academicians. ICQD member, Professor Jinlong Yang was elected as CAS academician in 2019.

Prof. Yang has been committed to the research of quantum chemistry for a long time. He has made original and systematic achievements in the design and simulation of new functional materials, the characterization and regulation of the quantum behavior of single molecules on the surface and so on, which have had an important influence at home and abroad.
